TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Baskets and Gifts by Design. By shopping with us, you agree to the terms below. We’ve tried to keep them clear and fair, and we’re always happy to answer questions.

Orders

Receiving an order confirmation does not mean we have accepted your order. We may decline or cancel an order, or fill less than the quantity requested, for any reason. If your card has been charged for an order we cancel, we’ll refund it.

Changes and Cancellations

Please check your recipient names, addresses, gift messages, product choices, and requested dates carefully when you order. We’ll make a reasonable effort to accommodate changes or cancellations before an order ships, but we can’t guarantee them once an order has been placed. Orders can generally be canceled before they ship. Costs already incurred for custom, special-order, or project-specific items may still apply.

Product Availability and Substitutions

Product brands, flavors, colors, packaging, and individual contents may vary depending on availability. When we need to substitute an item, we’ll choose something of comparable quality and value that keeps the look and theme of your gift. If a comparable substitute isn’t available and the change would significantly alter your gift, we’ll contact you before going ahead.

Multiple Items and Out-of-Stock Products

For orders with several items, we’ll try to ship everything together. If an item isn’t available, we’ll ship it as soon as it is, unless you tell us otherwise, and we’ll keep you informed. You’ll only be charged for the items in each shipment, plus the shipping you were quoted. You may cancel your order any time before it ships.

Pricing

If an item is listed at an incorrect price because of a typo or a pricing error, we may refuse or cancel the order, even if it has been confirmed and your card has been charged. If we cancel, we’ll refund the amount you were charged. We may correct errors or update information on our site at any time.

Payment and Taxes

We accept major credit cards, with no surcharge. Please provide the exact billing address and phone number your card issuer has on file, since incorrect information can delay your order. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

Alcohol

By ordering a gift containing alcohol, you confirm that you and the person receiving it are 21 or older, and that the alcohol is for personal use and not for resale. An adult 21 or older must sign for delivery. If you misstate your age or the recipient’s to obtain alcohol for someone under 21, we may cancel the order and pursue every remedy the law allows. If you don’t agree, please don’t order gifts containing alcohol.

WARNING: Drinking distilled spirits, beer, coolers, wine, and other alcoholic beverages may increase cancer risk, and, during pregnancy, can cause birth defects. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/alcohol.

Allergens

Our gifts are assembled in facilities that handle common allergens. Items may contain trace amounts of dairy, tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, wheat, and soy. If you or your recipient has an allergy, please contact us before ordering.

Product Safety

Picnic Time products comply with all state and federal environmental laws, including California Proposition 65. A few items, such as BBQ grills, carry a Prop 65 warning because smoke from grilling contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our site applies to your order.
